Keep Legal Short Term Rentals in BC
Over 10,000 people have signed the petition to keep legal short term rentals in operation.
Many people voiced their disagreement with the proposed regulations.
The petition was presented to the BC Legislature on March 6, 2024 by MLA Karin Kirkpatrick.

MLA Kirkpatrick also tabled an amendment to the Short Term Rental Accommodations Act that would help alleviate the losses to the tourism sector, affordable housing projects funded by the taxes, and to individuals who own the accommodations.
