BCSTRA is a provincial association representing Short-Term Rental consumers, rental owners, and property managers. We are proud supporters of the thriving tourism industry in the province of BC, and believe that Short-Term Rentals are a crucial part of the broader accommodation ecosystem.

Formed from recent legislative changes, which lacked consultation from our constituents, the BCSTRA aims to bring awareness to an often misunderstood industry through education and advocacy at both the public and government level.

BCSTRA is a provincial association of Short-Term rental owners and managers. 

The BCSTRA  consists of nine directors with robust backgrounds and professional experience, but with one common goal of changing the public and governmental narrative of short term rentals.

We believe in a fair and just democratic process, one which looks at all of the information and opinions of those affected.
